Dinner with Maison Margiela in Mexico City

Maison Margiela marked its arrival in Mexico City with a dinner at Casa Rosa Polanco that looked like a still life directed for a campaign. The setting was sharp — black and white, minimalist, clean lines — but then you looked at the table. Candles dripping everywhere, wax pooling across the surface, something almost gothic about it. Modern and moody all at once, the kind of dinner that’s as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the stomach. Chef Daniela Soto-Innes handled the four-course menu, Casa Dragones poured the cocktails, and MATTE produced the whole thing in collaboration with Vogue Latam. A proper way to bring Margiela to Mexico City.
